Where did your post go slamming Mrs. Cubin? I was preparing specifics, but it was deleted.

1st time post. Probably be a last one because I am not a Wyomingite. However I have been there once long ago. In fact, the only thing that I remember of Wyoming is perhaps 5 secs of the plane ride there. I was going to Cheyenne in order to see a friend of mine at the time whose name was Collin. Never seen or heard from since. I know that this is going to be an absurd question perhaps, but would any of you Cheyennettes know of someone Collin? From what I gather, the largest place in all the state is not even as big as my home-town. I figure it's rather tight-knit.

And as I suspected, I glanced on wiki in order to actualize the fact that Wyoming's the least populated state. That means that you guys are wealthy with space and hopefully with an absence of the everyday tensions that pollute city-life elsewhere in the union. I saw a picture of Casper and realized how beautiful it was. Now I really want to go back to Wyoming. I can stay in one place for as long as 30 yrs so long as life there's steady and comfortable.

Anyways, I just dropped in for a bit to say, 'hi,' and that was all. Didn't even realize that there was a Wyoming community at all.

Greetings Wyomingites.  One of my favorite tv shows is the western, "Laramie," (filmed 1959-63).  Some of you older folks may remember it.  Although it was not filmed in Wyoming, it does depict Wyoming, and especially the town of Laramie, back in the 1870's.  It took place at the relay station based a few miles outside Laramie.    I've been interested in Wyoming ever since I started watching this series, and of course the town of Laramie today is a lot different than was depicted in the show.  No official copies of this show exist but if any of you would like to see this show officially on dvd, there is a petition here: http://tonygill.co.uk/Fandom/fandomprojects.htm .  They need a 1000 signatures, and so far they've got half.  So if you, or anyone you know, would like to sign, feel free to send them the link and head on over there.

Every election, I get my hopes up - that Wyoming will actually pull their head out of their... and vote for something that makes sense.

This waiting to see if the wicked witch from the west (yep, born in California) will win is simply giving me heartburn.

I really hope she loses, and I wish it could have stayed a landslide like it was early on when just the larger metropolitan areas had voted.

Does this really prove the theory that the farther away you get from a larger metro area the crazier people are?

Ooooook.. hello everyone.. I live in Denve, CO. and I have a problem. Maybe some people can give me some hope other than what I already know. Here's the story: My boyfriend lives in Gillette, Wy. and can't leave due to some issues with the law. He did live here but had to go back. I can't stand the short visits because I just miss him more each time he leaves. I can't drive up there all the time cause my car sucks. I am currently unemployed because I got laid off and after paying bills I'm now broke. I really just want to go there now but I don't have the money to move into a place and he is living with family. I'd rather not get established with a company here and just leave but it seems like thats about the only thing I can do. Maybe I can find some farm to live on and work on till I get on my feet. although I have never done work like that. hah.. can anyone help? Thanks for reading.
